I borrowed this book from Overdrive through the Philadelphia Public Library to test out the kindle library lending feature. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies written in 1655. Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch is a book about two angels, one fallen (Crowley) and one still standing (Aziraphale) and their latest job assignment: Apocalypse. Good Omens is the bastard child of the literary masters Mr. Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch. The full name of the novel is actually "Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch" but I think this is a bit of a mouthful and thefore just tend to call it "Good Omens". In the end, "Good Omens" is a funny look at the End of the World, delivered in a deadpan way.
